Pour son travail, Joni (Carollina Cherry), a habité Londres pendant plusieurs années mais elle en est partie parce qu’elle ne supportait plus la ville, ses habitants, ses habitudes… et surtout Justin, son ex qui est désormais en prison. Elle qui pensait ne jamais avoir à y remettre les pieds, la voilà obligée, toujours pour le travail, de refaire face à son passé.
Isobel (Bella Tina), l’une de ses meilleures amies présente avec elle à Londres, tente une dernière fois de la convaincre d’aller s’amuser en attendant son vol retour. Joni comprend que pendant qu’elle lui parle au téléphone, son amie est en train de passer un très bon moment dans la chambre d’â côté, elle. Depuis qu’elle a rencontré John, elle ne peut plus se séparer de lui et leur relation est devenue très charnelle et surtout, très passionnée.
Lorsque le taxi qui devait la ramener à l’aéroport tombe en panne au milieu de nulle part, en pleine nuit, Joni n’a pas d’autre solution que de continuer le trajet à pied en espérant trouver rapidement un arrêt de bus. Malheureusement pour elle, une mauvaise rencontre dans un quartier mal famé l’oblige à revoir ses plans. Sans valise et sans sac à main, la voilà dans une situation pour le moins délicate.
